She/Her/Hers
I was born and raised in Houston, Texas. I am part of the first generation in my family born in America. My father migrated from Colombia and my mother from Mexico. Spanish was my first language and I understand the challenges and beauty of growing up in a Hispanic culture/heritage. I am married to a US Army Veteran and we have two children together, along with one cat and one dog. I am a big supporter and advocate for self-care. Because of this, I work hard to "practice what I preach". Depending on my mood, I either like to play video games, exercise, spend time with friends/family, read science-fiction books, watch anime and anything supernatural.
I believe myself to be a spiritually open-minded person. I do not judge others on their faith, religion, spiritual beliefs, gender or sexual orientation.
As a dedicated psychotherapist, I believe in the transformative power of psychoeducation and a strengths-based approach in guiding my clients towards personal growth. I understand that every individual is unique, and therefore, I tailor my therapeutic approach to each individual's specific needs and preferences. My years of experience have taught me that relying on a single approach in therapy can be limiting. That is why I strive to cultivate a deep understanding and connection with each of my clients, allowing for a more personalized and effective therapeutic experience. By getting to know you on a deeper level, I can assist you in gaining insights, developing coping skills, and transforming your life in a meaningful way. Whether you are struggling with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, or any other challenges, I am here to support you with empathy, professionalism, and a holistic perspective. If you are ready to embark on a journey towards positive change and growth, I am here to guide you every step of the way.
