About

We Listen, Act, and Transform

Cindy Martinez is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Board-Approved Supervisor, and Clinical Director of Still Water Therapy LLC, serving teens, young adults, and adults across Texas, Louisiana, and Florida. She works with people who feel overwhelmed, stuck, disconnected, or exhausted from carrying life's challenges on their own. Many of her clients are navigating overthinking, people-pleasing, emotional ups and downs, grief, past experiences that still feel present, or difficult life transitions. Cindy offers a supportive space to slow down, reconnect with yourself, and begin creating meaningful, lasting change. Cindy is especially passionate about helping clients build self-awareness, set healthy boundaries, strengthen their voice, and feel more in control of their lives. She also has experience supporting people who need additional care during vulnerable times, including those struggling with thoughts of self-harm or uncertainty about their safety. Her approach is eclectic, strengths-based, and tailored to each person. Sessions are collaborative, engaging, and grounded in psychoeducation, helping clients better understand themselves while building practical tools they can carry beyond therapy. Cindy brings a curious, open-minded, and nonjudgmental presence, creating a space where clients can show up authentically. While therapy can feel challenging at times, she believes it can also be a place of relief, growth, and genuine connection. With over nine years of experience across nonprofit, school, inpatient, and private practice settings, Cindy brings both depth of knowledge and genuine compassion to her work. She earned her Master of Social Work from the University of Southern California and is committed to providing thoughtful, evidence-informed care.
